A Larger than Life Lightbright for the 21st Century

The Everbright light wall (by Hero Design) is a huge grid of hundreds of adjustable color dials that rotate endlessly in either direction through the color spectrum. The user can dial in colors to create patterns, designs and pictures.

koolgirlposse saw an opportunity to leverage the 60˚ angle of the staggered dials for visual integration, and devised a dynamic diagonal grid for the graphics to complement the Everbright component. Energetic playful patterns in high key colors – closely matching the high key value of the light emitted from the dials – break the frame of the component. Rounded typography for the title, labels, and instructions reflect the shape of the dials.
